2010 წლის 3 სექტემბერს, შვედეთში ოფიციალური ვიზიტის დროს, სკპ–ის თავმჯდომარე ლევან ბეჟაშვილმა შვედი კოლეგების წინაშე ოფიციალური გამოსვლისას ისაუბრა ორ ინსტიტუტს შორის არსებული თანამეგობრობის დიდი მნიშვნელობის შესახებ. გამოსვლა პირდაპირი ეთერით გავიდა შვედეთის ეროვნული აუდიტორული ოფისის რეგიონალურ ოფისებში ვიდეოკონფერენციის საშუალებით.

Good Morning to everybody present here and those who are listening to us from Uppsala, Karlstad and Jonshoping.

I would like to thank the Auditors Generals for the opportunity given to me and my colleagues to stand in front of you today and to be part of the so called all staff Friday meeting.  It is a great honor for me to be in the institution of such traditions, experience and professionalism as the Swedish National Audit Office is.

As you know, in March of the current year the Chamber of Control of Georgia and Swedish National Audit Office signed the Memorandum of Understanding, the content of which is quite wide and covers the fields of Financial Audit, Internal and External communications, IT strategy, Management and Performance Audit.

This Memorandum  was preceded by close partnership relations between our institutions that included contributions from many colleagues from both sides. I would also like to highlight the special part that was played by Mr. Kameran Khudur and Mr. Anders who allowed these relations to grow further and develope into the real partnership.

I would like to extend my special gratitude to those Swedish colleagues who have been directly involved in the support activities, some of them present here, and greet them once again. 

Georgia is the country of deep traditions and great experience that stands today in front of many challenges and new perspectives. It has chosen the road of reforms and we have achieved substantial results in democratization and economic sphere that made us the leader among many countries of post-Soviet Union and Caucasus region.

Therefore, it is important for the Chamber of Control not to stay behind these processes and to develop into the modern and professional institution with the ability to ensure the legality and effectiveness of usage of state funds and to assist in improving the management of public finances.

In these efforts, the support of the Swedish colleagues is crucial and is appreciated by us very much.

One of the most important things for us is your goodwill that is based on respectful and friendly approach. I hope that our cooperation will be successful, and that those who will be evaluating the expenses incurred during the support process will not have doubts and will find our partnership valuable and purposeful.
