Cooperation with Political Parties
A change to the organic law of Georgia on “Political Unions of Citizens entered into force on December 30th, 2011. In accordance with the law, Chamber of Control of Georgia became responsible for monitoring financial activities of the political parties registered in Georgia.

MoU with the National Bank of Georgia
A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the Chamber of Control of Georgia and the National Bank of Georgia.

Briefing on Political Parties
A change to the organic law of Georgia “On Political Unions of Citizens”, adopted by the Parliament of Georgia, entered into force on December 30th, 2011. The above change vested the Chamber of Control of Georgia with a new authority – to perform a monitoring of financial activities of political parties.

Management Round Table
A Round Table dedicated to the challenges and achievements of the Chamber of Control of Georgia supported by the International Organization SIGMA (Support for Improvement in Governance and Management) was organized in Courtyard by Tbilisi Marriott on the 29th of June. The meeting was attended by the representatives of CCG, SIGMA, State Audit office of Latvia as well as Polish and Swedish experts.

EUROSAI VIII Congress
Delegation of the Chamber of Control of Georgia led by the Chairman of the CCG participates in the EUROSAI (European Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions) VIII Congress held on the 30th of May – 3 of June in the capital city of Portugal -Lisbon. The Congress is organized by the Court of Auditors of Portugal.
