Chamber of Control of Georgia

On the 1^st -3^rd of September the delegation of the Chamber of Control led by the Chairman - Mr. Levan Bezhashvili visited the Swedish National Audit Office (SNAO). The purpose of the visit is the exchange of the experiences on organization and management of a supreme audit institution and to enhance knowledge of modern management principles.

Presentations on the topic "The management of the Supreme Audit Institution" that included aspects of the audit management of the Swedish NAO were delivered by the Auditor General Mr. Jan Landahl, Deputy Auditor General Mr. Gert Jonsson and other representatives of the SNAO.

The above visit was organized within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding signed on the 23^rd of March 2010 by the Institutions and allowed to agree on draft activity plan that will contribute to the achievement of the goals of the ongoing sub-project. The Memorandum foresees the assistance to the CCG - to implement the relevant activities defined in accordance to its mandate and to fulfill effective role in the sphere of Georgian public administration.
