Round Table in German House

A round table dedicated to the topic” Legal Bases of Independent External Financial Control” has been held in the German House attended by the representatives of the Chamber of Control of Georgia, Budget and Finance Committee and Legal Issues Committee of the Parliament of Georgia.
Within the framework of the round table, a draft law on the amendments to the Law of Georgia on the Chamber of Control of Georgia has been reviewed with the aim of harmonization of the legal bases determining CCG mandate with international audit standards (ISSAI).
An expert opinion on the above mentioned draft law was shared by Mr. Matthias Maehring, the leader of the project paper of the Bundesrechnungshof.
The round table has been organized by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, facilitated by the German International Cooperation (GIZ) ongoing project– “Support to the Chamber of Control of Georgia”.
