MoU between the NAOL and CCG

A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the Chamber of Control of Georgia and the National Audit Office of Lithuania (NAOL).
Main objective of the MoU is to enhance professional capacity and increase the effectiveness of cooperation and exchange of experience between the two Supreme Audit Institutions that will promote principles of accountability and facilitate the establishment of best practices.
Within the framework of the above mentioned Memorandum the National Audit Office of Lithuania will give consultation and recommendations as well as will provide other expert services to the CCG in the following directions: opinion on the Draft State Budget; opinion on sets of financial statements and reports on implementation of the State Budget including revenue audit; opinion on the report on the State-owned property and IT audit.
The MoU covers the years 2011 and 2012
