What is the Mission of the CCG?
The CCG ensures the legality, purposefulness and effectiveness of the expenditure and usage of public funds; safeguards the national wealth and State property and assists in improving the management of public funds.
What is the Vision of the CCG?
The CCG shall support the Supreme Legislative Body of Georgia in the accomplishment of the various functions of Parliamentary supervision for the benefit of the citizens of Georgia.
What is the objective of the CCG?
The CCG aims at development of a modern, independent audit service for public sector, which meets international standards and is fully trusted by the citizens of Georgia.

What are the basic activities of the CCG?
Conducting Financial audit, Compliance audit and Performance audit.
What is meant under different audit types?
A Financial Audit is an examination of the accounting and financial reports of the auditee which establishes their level of correspondence with the applicable standards. A Compliance Audit is a study and analysis of the legality and purposefulness of the expenditure and usage of public funds and public assets. A Performance Audit examines the economy level, efficiency and effectiveness of the management of revenue, expenditure and public resources and also identifies whether, while using it's resources to achieve organisational goals, the entity's management has achieved these goals in an eonomical, efficient and effective way.
Who does the CCG work with?
In order to fulfill its constitutional obligations and objectives the CCG works with other public entities and institutions and cooperates with stakeholder NGO's and media.
Are the activities of the CCG transparent?
The CCG audit reports and other decisions(opinions, conclusions, recommendations, etc.) are public, unless otherwise stated by law.
The CCG submits and report on its activity during the previous year to the Parliament before the 1st of June each year. These annual reports are widely publicised.
International relations of the CCG
The CCG maintains mutual relations with the Swedish National Audit Office(SNAO). It also enjoys the support of the Delegation of the European Commission in Georgia(EC Delegation), the World Bank, the joint group of development partners(SIDA,DFID,Koninkrijk der Nederlanden), the German Technical Cooperation Group(GTZ) and the Sigma project.
